This is not likely to happen in a regular ZK match, but in Tech-k or mods that grant very high energy income, if the grid passes a number, overdrive breaks and does not apply at all.
Reclaiming enough energy buildings to reduce the production below this number fixes overdrive.
I'm guessing a variable in the overdrive calculation overflows. Is it possible to cap overdive energy contribution if it will exceed the variable size?
To replicate just play a tech-k match, upgrade to uber and make some fusions. Uber is high enough a tier for the problem to appear.
