Unfork this GH Pages Org site repo

This stack overflow thread seems to provide 2 different methods for going forward with a biohackathons.github.io repo that does not have the forked status, as in "forked from NCBI-Hackathons/ncbi-hackathons.github.io".

The reason to unfork the repo is that, any of us who work on it will then get github contribution credit (see these github contribution docs).

Not a big deal, but the least we can do for anyone who contributes to this open source effort 🎉

Another reason is to reduce confusion since the two are separate (just shared some early commit history).

Following up, but it looks like github now has this option for any person who is an admin for the repository: https://docs.github.com/en/pull-requests/collaborating-with-pull-requests/working-with-forks/detaching-a-fork#leaving-the-fork-network

The easy option via the GitHub UI says:

Leave fork network

Can't leave the fork network because this fork has child forks.

Given that, I'm not certain if the drastic other documented route would work (manually deleting the fork and recreating it without any connection to the original).
