it seems that gemini cli has some problem with this request in our github action workflow:

There seems to be a regression wrt to the gemini cli version. E.g. pinning vars.GEMINI_CLI_VERSION to a (quite old) version like v0.10.0 works just fine for me. I haven't had time to binary search my way to the working version yet.

Also ran into this setting up a project first-time. switching to v0.10.0 as @danistrebel suggested got things working.
