HISTORY.md stopped at v3.2.0. Adds the 3.4.0 entry covering what shipped, the defects fixed, and the rollback path that remains unverified end to end.
Artifact checksums are deliberately not inlined: the release workflow rebuilds the standalone on the runner, and zip timestamps make that hash differ from any local build. The release page carries the authoritative digests.
