I've brought the released 1.16.5 version forward to Minecraft 1.17.1 and Forge 37.1.1. This is Base Metals 3.1.0.117011, using Java 16 and the published OreSpawn 4.1.0.117011 release.
The main changes are:
High/Low Fantasy, both configuration entry points, armour effects, material arrows and bolts, plate repairs, trades and filled molten buckets are carried forward. Existing registry names and saved items are kept.
The local checks include 68 unit tests, packaged client and server fresh/reload tests, both content modes and login checks, Mineralogy coexistence, and separate upgrades from Cyano 1.10, MMD 1.10, MMD 1.12 and the 1.13–1.16 ports. Original worlds were left untouched. The release jars are audited for unwanted files and compared across two clean builds. I've also finished the in-game testing.
The README, changelog and guides have been updated for this version. Agent notes and generated test output are not included; permanent tests and migration fixtures remain outside the published mod.
