Minecraft Mineralogy replaces ordinary underground stone with a large catalogue of recognisable rocks. Those rocks form broad underground geology and can be used for matching building blocks, furnaces, lighting, and other materials.
Mineralogy 6 supplies the geological content and always uses MMD OreSpawn 4 for world generation. Mineralogy owns the rocks, blocks, recipes, fluids, textures, tags, and saved-block compatibility. OreSpawn owns formations, geomes, ore and fluid placement, world profiles, and the world-generation screens.

- Solving a problem: Troubleshooting
Use the CurseForge Files tab to select Mineralogy and OreSpawn builds that match your Minecraft and Forge version.
Older Mineralogy releases contain their own generation systems and use different configuration files. Keep using the documentation and files that match the installed release.
