This is a fix for an EPSON TM-U220b Impact Receipt Printer with a UB-U02III USB interface.
It appears the printer doesn't support a GET_DEVICE_ID request, resulting in a -EPIPE USB stall. This stall prevents a subsequent USB command from being executed consistently. In the case of cups, this affects the backend/usb from consistently returning a correct (i.e. non default) URI for the printer.
This fix clears the stall condition.
It has been tested and works 100%.
