🎯 Background (The "Why")

This project is a sequel to Folder Sync Inspector. While the predecessor focused on inspecting folder synchronization, Deploy Packager focuses on automatic extraction.

This app was born from "productive laziness": moving only updated files to a production server while perfectly preserving the folder structure—minimizing the risk of "Web Down" dramas caused by misplaced files.

🛠️ How It Works (The Magic)

As simple as sipping your morning coffee:

1. Pick Project: Select your Git repo folder. (The app is smart; it remembers your choice for tomorrow).
2. Select Commits: Choose which commits you want to "bundle." Yes, you can select multiple!
3. Review Files: View the list of changed files. There's a search filter to ensure no "secret" files accidentally tag along.
4. Export!: Pick a destination, click generate, and BOOM! Your files are ready to be copied to the server with their original directory structure intact.

🔖 Versioning

This project uses Semantic Versioning (MAJOR.MINOR.PATCH) with automated releases via release-please.

• Source of truth: pubspec.yaml:4 (version: 1.0.0+1 — +1 is the Android/Windows build number).
• Changelog: CHANGELOG.md (Keep a Changelog format).
• Tags: vX.Y.Z (e.g., v1.0.1) created automatically when a Release PR is merged.

How to release

1. Merge conventional commits to main (feat:, fix:, feat!:, etc.):
   • fix: → patch bump (1.0.0 → 1.0.1)
   • feat: → minor bump (1.0.0 → 1.1.0)
   • feat!: / BREAKING CHANGE: → major bump (1.0.0 → 2.0.0)
2. release-please opens/updates a Release PR (release-please--branches--main) with version bump in pubspec.yaml, .release-please-manifest.json, and CHANGELOG.md.
3. Merge the Release PR → automatically creates tag vX.Y.Z + GitHub Release. Windows installer artifact is versioned as deploy_packager_setup-vX.Y.Z.exe (read from pubspec.yaml in CI).

No manual git tag or changelog edits needed.
