The previous link now redirects to a suspicious site.

Thanks for opening another PR on the protracted "fabulous.dev" issue. As a maintainer of Fabulous, I would not like to get to a situation potential users and contributors are turned away by landing on a potentially harmful website - especially while we're actively looking for contributors, canary testers, and new users. I really appreciate the help!

New fsharp dev here randomly stumbled on this today. Seconding PR 😂

@CommanderTurtle Thanks for raising this - any new Fabulous user is effectively a canary tester, and canary testers are crucially needed at this stage (= after the recent revamp of the repo and docs) :-). A confused user is a lost opportunity.

Thanks @ykomatsu for the PR and for flagging this! The links have now been fixed via #1025 and #1029, so this one is superseded. Maintainers, feel free to close it when convenient.

Brief mention to the fsharp wizards in here.

I wonder if you guys could update this minirepo to the hybrid fsharp approach I keep for my gemfile (jekyll) sites? Would be a rather cool #sideproject to attempt 😄

See: orc/tree/main/blog for the Jekyll fsharp site!

Would love some people with larger names in the fsharp space to check it out!

Sources:

Spent a great deal of time on it early in the year. And it's not well known about. A way to turn (legacy btw) html sites into full giraffe 💪 ... and yes, there's a git workflow if you do choose: any files put in the root /throw/ directory instantly transition to fsharp.

Hi @CommanderTurtle, thanks for the enthusiasm! but this PR is closed and was only about the Fabulous links, so your suggestion is unlikely to reach the right people here. I’m a Fabulous maintainer, not an fsharp.org maintainer, so I can’t speak to your proposal either way.

If you’d like feedback on it, I’d suggest opening a thread in the repo’s Discussions tab (or an issue), where the fsharp.org maintainers can find it. Wishing luck with the project :-).

Appreciate it.

Was just mentioning mildly in this closed thread. There's not many F# enthusiasts out there these days, and it's a relatively quiet language. I didn't think discussions pane was all too active, but it's okay. Some had been opened in 2025 with not much activity. Either way was just a mention since this is arguably the most active thread since mid-2025. It wasn't something really fully discussion worthy anyways, just ig wanted to spread the gospel of html/ruby to giraffe conversion, hehe. Wouldn't be so uncool on fabulous site too. Have a great one.

@CommanderTurtle ... and those enthusiasts are often too busy with other OSS repos or other projects (in addition to their jobs or commercial projects). Being persistent and using other channels (F# Slack, Discord) may help (as it helped with the links :-)).

@CommanderTurtle
Can we talk about it on the Fabulous repo? Please open an issue or start a discussion thread. Or if you think it is better to address me directly -->> mira44489998 on Discord . But I cannot promise I'll be dealing with your proposal immediatelly as the Fabulous repo is seriously understaffed (no time for everything, you know),
