Should the VEP note that the different response data products comply with formats defined by specific standards in wide use by the HEA community (arf and rmf with George & Arnaud et al. 1998; aeff, edisp, and bkgrate with Deil & Wood et al. 2022)? That is how these vocabulary terms are defined in Section 5.1.2 of the HEIG ObsCore Extension note.

I have sent a request to amend the reference section of this vocabulary and add the two references you mentioned .
the online version of the VEP is response-type

The process for the change for references is in the hands of the Semantics Group.
I think you can validate this PR so that we can propose more changes and iterate on the note?
