[BUG] Vanilla execution on Ubuntu has UI server Error (500) #74

I'm sure I am not configuring something correctly but if not then I'm happy to raise a PR to the docs so that others do not make the same mistake.
Are you setting an app URL?
Is this a fresh or existing install?Are you re-creating/deploying the container when you make this change? Also you should be replacing the
/path/topart of the/configvolume as it's a placeholder.Check the application log at
/config/log/laravel.logfor the specifics of the 500 error.I am not re-creating , the laravel.log is empty.
I will try re-creating.Just a note, when using compose, if you change your compose file, you need to
downthenup -dto recreatenoted. Yes I have been deleting the last image and checking with
docker ps -aeach time. No luck so far. I can see the nginx logs are

Yes, I used a valid key , but there are no logs being generated in the laravel log file at all. I will re-check shortly and provide more information.
Just deployed this again myself due to moving my instance, unable to replicate.

I have the same issue, although I have installed it as a docker inside Unraid.
Log is the same as OP; I also get Server Error 500 when I try to open the gui.99% sure it's an issue with your key, that's the only time I'm able to replicate this error when the key is invalid.

Thanks for the reply! So, I tried to generate a new key again. My procedure this time was to launch the docker container for Speedtest tracker from Unraid, then open the console there.
I put this command:
echo "base64:$(openssl rand -base64 32 2>/dev/null)"And I got this key:
base64:wPYJWg2dde/GVIIyToREMOVINGSOMECHARACTERSJUSTINCASE=Then I went ahead, stopped the container, and clicked EDIT. I added this key (including Base64) in the APP_KEY field and updated.
This is the docker command that is shown:

Looks like there’s a problem with this site The server at 192.168.178.57:1429 sent back an error: 500 Internal Server Error What can you do about it? Check to make sure you’ve typed the website address correctly. The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few moments.I tried launching the webui from the docker manager, I tried launching it from different browsers, but still no dice :(
