Modules already store `logo_props` (like projects, views and pages), but the web UI never let users set it or rendered it. - Module form: add the emoji/icon picker next to the title, as in the view form. - Show the logo in the module list row, the module card, and the module dropdown (breadcrumb trigger, options and multi-select pills), falling back to the generic module glyph when no logo is set. - Add `logo_props` to `IModule`. - Public API (v1): accept `logo_props` on module create/update; it was already returned on reads. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
`Logo` only knew emoji and icons, so an entity could not show an image such as a customer's logo. - `Logo`/`TLogoProps`: add `in_use: "image"` with `image.url`. Existing values are untouched. - `Logo` renders it as a contained, rounded `<img>` of `size`, with an empty `alt` (the name is always shown next to it). The URL is checked at render time by `sanitizeLogoImageUrl`: only `http(s):` URLs and Plane asset paths (`/api/assets/...`) are rendered. A refused URL or an image that fails to load shows the new `fallback` prop (defaults to the empty-logo placeholder). - `EmojiPicker`: opt-in "Image" tab (URL field, preview, Apply), shown only when `onImageChange` is passed, so projects, pages, views and editor callouts are unchanged. - Modules: the form offers the Image tab, and every module logo falls back to the generic module glyph when its image cannot be shown. Validate logo_props against the shared logo contract.
Module.logo_props is an unvalidated JSON field. The public create and update serializers can persist scalar values, unknown in_use values, and image URLs outside the supported URL contract. The web renderer rejects unsafe URLs, but server-side validation is still needed to keep persisted API data compatible with TLogoProps.

Normalize asset paths before you accept them by prefix.
Line 150 returns any value that starts with /api/assets/ without parsing it. A value such as /api/assets/../../other/endpoint passes the check. getFileURL then prefixes it with API_BASE_URL. The browser resolves the dot segments, so the <img> sends a credentialed GET to any same-origin API path. Resolve the value against a dummy origin and check the normalized pathname.

Description
Modules already have a
logo_propsJSON field, like projects, views and pages. The app API already reads and writes it, but the web UI never uses it: the module form has no picker, and the list, card, breadcrumb and module dropdowns don't render it. Separately, the sharedLogotype only supportsemojiandicon, so there is no way to show an image, such as a customer's logo on a customer-specific module. The PR has two commits.
1.
feat(modules): pick and show emoji/icon logos for modules(parity with views)components/views/form.tsx.@plane/blocksModuleSelect, which covers the breadcrumb trigger in the module header, the options and the multi-select pills. Modules without a logo keep the generic module glyph. Favorites already renderlogo_propsfor modules.IModule.logo_props?: TLogoProps.ModuleCreateSerializerandModuleUpdateSerializernow acceptlogo_props. The field was already returned on reads but silently dropped on writes. The app API is unchanged becauseModuleWriteSerializeralready accepted it.2.
feat(logo): support image logos and use them for modulesLogo(@plane/blocks) andTLogoProps(@plane/types) get a newin_use: "image"withimage?: { url?: string }. This is backward compatible: existing values and consumers don't change.Rendering: an
<img>sizedsize, withobject-contain, rounded corners,loading="lazy"andreferrerPolicy="no-referrer".altis empty because the image is decorative and the entity's name is always next to it.The URL is user-supplied JSON, so
sanitizeLogoImageUrlchecks it at render time. Only these are rendered:http:andhttps:URLs/api/assets/...), resolved throughgetFileURLEverything else is refused, including
javascript:,data:,blob:, protocol-relative URLs and other relative paths. If the URL is refused or the image fails to load,
Logorenders a new optionalfallbackprop (modules pass the generic module glyph). Withoutfallback, it keeps the existing sized placeholder. A new URL gets a fresh load attempt.EmojiPicker: a new "Image" tab with a URL field, a preview and an Apply button. The tab only appears whenonImageChangeis passed. Projects, pages, views and editor callouts don't pass it, so their pickers are unchanged.EmojiIconPickerTypegains"image"fordefaultOpen.The module form passes

None yet. I couldn't run the full web + API stack in my environment, so the UI is covered by the render tests below. I'm happy to add before/after screenshots if you'd like them.
