Download AutoHotkey:
- Download the latest release.
- Open the download folder and Extract the ZIP.
- Install AutoHotkey v2 (link https://www.autohotkey.com/).
- Run Launcher.ahk.
- A H icon will appear in taskbar (click upword arrow to show hidden icons).
- Right-click the tray icon.
- Click Configure.
That's it.
Click Add Shortcut
Choose an available numpad key from the Numpad Key dropdown.
Examples:1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,0,*,/,+ etc.
Note: Keys that are already assigned cannot be selected until they are freed.
Select what you want the key to launch.
Currently supported shortcut types:
- 🖥️ Application
- 📁 Folder
- 🌐 Website
- ⌨️ Keyboard Shortcut
Fill in the required information based on the shortcut type you selected.
Browse or paste the full path to the application's executable (.exe).
(If you don't know how to find application.exe the the steps to find it are given below)

C:\Program Files\Microsoft VS Code\Code.exe
Browse or paste the folder path.
Example
D:\Projects
Enter the complete website URL.
Example
https://chatgpt.com
Enter the keyboard combination you want to execute.
Examples
Ctrl + C
Ctrl + Shift + V
Win + E
Alt + Tab
Click Save to store your shortcut.
The Launcher will automatically reload the configuration (or prompt you to reload if required).
Your shortcut is now ready to use.
Simply press the assigned Numpad Key and NumpadOS will launch the configured action instantly.
The easiest and most reliable method is through Task Manager.
Open the application you want to add.
Example:
- VS Code
- Discord
- Steam
- Spotify
Press
Ctrl + Shift + Esc
to open Task Manager.
Go to the Details tab.
In search bar write application name and Right click (application).exe.
Example:
Code.exe
Discord.exe
Steam.exe
click properties.
Choose
Open file location
File Explorer will open.
Right-click the (application).exe.
Choose
Copy as path
Paste the path into NumpadOS.
Example:
C:\Users\Pardeep\AppData\Local\Programs\Microsoft VS Code\Code.exe
Done!
NumpadOS stores all settings automatically.
No manual editing is required.
Launcher and Configurator automatically generate log files.
